4.30pm Wrap
Just a dusting overnight but good snow has been dropping all day with around 15cm since around 9 this morning. There were light winds to start the day but by 11 or so the gusts started to pick up & some excellent windblown was dusting off trails & keeping the quality in top shape. Temps were nice to all riders today varying from minus ten or so at top & approx minus 5 at village levels. Sapporo Ice Festival is on show this week so if up this end of the globe & looking to change your day from turns to some breathtaking Ice sculpturing then put it on your schedule – some awesome talent on display. Consistent falls are expected to continue throughout the coming week with cold temps & civilised winds. With around 4 meters of base from mid to top, there’s plenty under boot to trace out some silky turns. Please Ride Wisely !
