Shiga Kogen is Japan’s largest ski resort. Eighteen interlinked ski areas provide many options, from long cruisers to challenging moguls, from powder bowls to beginner slopes. One lift ticket gives you access to over 50 lifts, gondolas and ropeways.
Visitors to the area can also see some of Japan’s most fascinating sights. Apart from the 3,000 metre Japanese Alps, there is the world famous Jigokudani Monkey Hot Springs or visit the Matsumoto castle or Zenkoji Temple all within easy access from Shiga Kogen.
